This $700 Amex Platinum Card is honestly a terrible product for most people. It gives you five points on flights and hotels booked with American Express and one point on everything else which isn’t great compared to less expensive products like the Amex gold card but the Platinum cards real benefit comes from the $1,500 in credits that it gives you including $200 in Uber cash and a $240 digital Entertainment Credit just to name a few. But the only reason I got this card is for the lounge access including the Amex Centurion lounges where you can get complimentary food and drinks at a number of major airports.
